Update: I'm now reasonably happy with the format of the article. What's next is to add the meat to this skeleton. A handy roadmap has been created FiberOptix/Entanglement Distillation ToDo from peer review. I've also been able to dig up the earliest and most important papers on the topic, some of which are included in the history section.

Update: I'm now in the process of incorporating feedback from the peer review into the main article, keeping a "snapshot" archive of progression as I continue to update the page. Any additional feedback is greatly appreciated. I'm interested in adding plots of fidelity, entanglement, etc.

One obvious area of improvement is the amount of content - I plan to add more content within the current subsections of the article in the coming weeks, and then to perhaps add another subsection "entanglement distillation and quantum error correction".
