Hello, and concerns[edit]

Hi Fixinstragram, my name is Qwryxian, and I'm an administrator here at Wikipedia. I just reverted your edits to Instagram. Unfortunately, the combination of your edit summary and your username lead me to believe that it's unlikely that you're going to be successful here at Wikipedia unless you significantly change your approach. First, Wikipedia requires that information in articles be verified by reliable sources. The burden to add those sources is on you, the person adding the information, not on others to "look it up". WHile it's sometimes okay to temporarily leave unsourced info in articles while people look for sources, we (are supposed to) never do that in the case of contentious/critical information. Second, your username makes it seem like you see your purpose here as trying to fix what you perceive of as a problem with Instagram. However, that purpose is not compatible with Wikipedia's goal. We are not an advocacy site, nor are we a place for you to post your opinions and try to "fix" things--see WP:RIGHTGREATWRONGS for more info.

So, if you'd like to keep contributing to Wikipedia, you'll need to provide reliable sources for your information, and you'll need to be sure that you're following our other policies (like, for example, our requirement of neutrality). I'm going to add a welcome message below with links to a variety of our policies that may help you; you're also welcome to ask me if you have questions.
