Speedy deletion of Debbie does salads[edit]

A tag has been placed on Debbie does salads requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. — Twinzor Say hi! 15:29, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Between the fact that the content you added to existing articles was questionable at best coupled with the fact that you nominated your own article for deletion made your actions suspect. If your contributions were in good faith, please accept my apologies. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 16:34, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I see. Still, a Google search of the title doesn't turn up what you're writing about, but rather a Food Network show. I'm assuming good faith and trying to help, but please don't create any more articles without verifiable third-party sources. Thanks. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 16:51, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, that's one way of putting it.  :) There are articles about pornographic movies here since the site isn't censored. The movie may well exist, but verifiability is actually more important than truth. So, if you can cite verifiable third-party sources such as reviews, interviews and such, you're free to create an article on the film. Since it's a proper title, it should be named Debbie Does Salads. Good luck...and I will probably never think of a salad in quite the same way again. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 16:57, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
