Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Kosher foods, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Donald Duck (talk) 04:26, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Kanji Kitamura, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Re your message: When I deleted the article, you did not establish why Kanji Kitamura was notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia, but the Forbes article may establish his notability. You are welcome to recreate the article. Please make sure that you include citations to the Forbes article or any other article about Kanji Kitamura. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 16:44, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Re your message: I moved the article over to your user space at User:Foodfinder/Kanji Kitamura so that you can work on it without it being deleted. I fixed your Infobox box usage and cleaned up some of the text for you, but you need to do a lot more work with the article before you move the article back into main space. What I recommend you do is look for articles about other Japanese businessmen and use one of them as a template on how you should structure an article. I re-read the Forbes article and while it does mention Kitamura in the article, the article is not only just about him. You will probably need additional references to other articles in order for the article to remain on Wikipedia. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:15, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kanji Kitamura

[edit]

You can learn about to upload images to Wikipedia by following the directions at Help:Contents/Images and media. As for your changes to the article, I think they need some work. I suggest that you remove the sections "Activities", "A Bagel market in Japan", and "A New Trend of a Bagel" as they focus on the bagel market in Japan instead of the Kitamura himself. Some of it can be used in the article, but you should use normal sentences and paragraphs instead of bullet points. As I suggested before, you can look at other articles about Japanese businessmen and use that as a template. You should also consider making the article on the Japanese language Wikipedia before writing an article here. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:11, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
