Unsourced content, removal of content

[edit]

You have been adding unsourced content to September 2022 Burkina Faso coup d'état claiming that "the recent military coups in West Africa conducted by graduates of the French College of Warfare have caused some to question their training programs".

None of the sources you added to the article back your claim. All they talk about is graduates from French military and relations between France and Guinea. No one is said to be questioning anything in them.

Secondly you've also removed sourced content while claiming it's not in sources.

You removed "and Traore later stated that he did not think France was involved".

The source France 24 linked there states that: Traore himself appeared to backtrack later on Saturday, telling FRANCE 24: "Is there a counteroffensive? Yes. Backed by France? I don't think so."

You also removed "Damiba demanded seven guarantees in return, including that his allies would be protected, a guarantee for his security and rights, and that the new junta would fulfill the promise he made to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) about restoring civilian rule in two years."

The source Al Arabiya states that: They added that Damiba had set “seven conditions” for stepping down, including a guarantee of security for his allies in the military, “a guarantee of his security and rights” and that those taking power must respect the guarantee he had given to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) for a return to civilian rule within two years.

I've thus reverted all your edits for being unsourced and removing sourced content. Drokanus (talk) 08:53, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
