Joseph Muscat

[edit]

FreethinkerEurope: I know we have already talked a bit on my talk page about your edit requests on the Muscat page. I wanted to leave you a belated welcome message I should have left earlier (and I apologize for not doing so) and hopefully provide a bit more information. The edit requests you are proposing are not problematic and I encourage you to keep bringing them forward. I do want to let you know, however, about the Core Content Policies. Your requests generally do agree with these policies but I perceive an undercurrent of trying to persuade readers of Muscat's article of just how much Muscat needs to resign now, and not when he previously planned to. Wikipedia as a project is, by design, a reactive outlet, not a proactive one. Wikipedia articles should not attempt to persuade readers of how reality should be, but they should reflect the reality as it is. This can be very frustrating, I know, but the Neutral Point of View policy is part of keeping Wikipedia a trusted source. I hope this helps.
