I've just purged it according to the instructions at WP:PURGE. The shield should be fine now. Anyway...

A tag has been placed on County Route S8 (California), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please preview

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again. (O - RLY?) 03:00, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

How familiar are you with I-10 westbound east of Phoenix? The signage data on Google Maps is outdated, and AARoads only has eastbound photos from after the sign replacement. --NE2 00:04, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Can you please reply to this question? Thank you. --NE2 01:42, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
  • I don't know much. I only know freeways in Metro Los Angeles pretty well. I'm forced to fix the exit list because the purple tag state it is badly format with extra coloring and colorful and boldface text such as green and brown, and the shields are too big. It takes me alot of time to fix these problem like these so this is why I expect someone to do some work.

Shields

Why are you making edits like [1]? --NE2 05:47, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

  • That's because much of he shields from Interstate-Guide.com shows state shields blue sign with white text they have small state code Texas shown. Those shields Interstate-Guide taken from the picture and photos from real freeway, not the shields they create themself. Most of the Cental and South-Western states use state shields not neutral shields.

Freewayguy--Let me know what's up 22:00, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Please close your font tags in your signature; this text is maroon because you didn't. The shields obviously don't exist, and we have a shield that works. --NE2 00:24, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Texas no longer uses the Texas specific interstate shield. You can still find an old one here or there that still has the state name on it, but for the most part have been switched to the general shield. --Holderca1 14:31, 8 August 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Freewayguy (talkcontribs)

What reliable sources do you have? None of them that were linked are reliable. --NE2 16:21, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

I removed the I-45 extension speculation. --NE2 19:14, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Signing change of original Interstate 80 running through Sacramento to signs for Business 80 (and former Interstate 880 signs changed to new I-80) occurred in October 1983. I was a personal witness to it, with strong memory of details.--Mokgamen 03:50, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Re: About User:212.50.168.9

I didn't contact anyone at the school, we generally report vandals to the Wikipedia administrators at WP:AIV. I'm not sure if anyone in particular is watching the IP, but there's a large group or editors that patrols the rencent changes page to watch for vandals, and I assume that's where I noticed the IP vandalizing - I'm not sure, it was several months ago.
If I may ask, though... why? That IP address hasn't made any edits since June, and the warnings I issued were in May. Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:52, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Did you make a typo on the height of the flyovers here? You have the interchange's highest ramps being 13 feet high, but that doesn't even meet Interstate standard (which is 17 feet I believe). Also, can you cite a source on this being the tallest interchange in the area? Thanks. —Scott5114 04:53, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

I-345

Functionally I-345 is part of I-45. It was built at the same time and shares the same history. --NE2 05:57, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
