     Greetings
   I have noticed that you have removed the following statements as opinionated from the article Shooting of Eyad Al Hallaq ;

", a Palestinian territory, illegally occupied by Israel Military since 1967 and subject to continuous and systematic violations of the human rights of the Palestinian people" in spite of a reference to a UN resolution as opinionated statement. The statement made were a summary of the united nation General Assembly resolution on 13 December 2019 titled " Israeli practices affecting the human rights of the Palestinian people in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem" and I quote from page 3/8 and 4/8 "Expressing grave concern about the continuing systematic violation of the human rights of the Palestinian people by Israel, the occupying Power, including that arising from the excessive use of force and military operations causing death and injury to Palestinian civilians, including children, women and non-violent, peaceful demonstrators, as well as journalists, medical personnel and humanitarian personnel; the arbitrary imprisonment and detention of Palestinians, some of whom have been imprisoned for decades; the use of collective punishment; the closure of areas; the confiscation of land; the establishment and expansion of settlements; the construction of a wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory in departure from the Armistice Line of 1949; the destruction of property and infrastructure; the forced displacement of civilians, including attempts at forced transfers of Bedouin communities; and all other actions by it designed to change the legal status, geographical nature and demographic composition of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and demanding the cessation of all such unlawful actions," Additionally from 2/8 "Reaffirming also the applicability of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949, 10 to the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and other Arab territories occupied by Israel since 1967,"

I hope that this clarifies that it wasn't an opinion of mine, Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns but if not I will go ahead and add them back.

Thanks you for your attention. MYS1979

Notice of discretionary sanctions

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

While your reversion was technically correct, as the editor who added it was prohibited from doing so by the sanctions, I would point out that the same rules apply to all accounts; editors with less than 30 days and 500 edits are prohibited from editing pages or content related to the Palestine-Israel conflict.
