Gluten in rice

[edit]

Could you provide a source for your addition to coeliac disease with regards to gluten contamination of rice products. How much gluten is there in maltodextrin? JFW | T@lk 13:08, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I actually found on the Columbia University website a source that directly contradicts the maltodextrin claim. I have removed the content now, but feel free to reinsert it with a source (preferably a reliable source from a scientific journal or official report). Email

[edit]

I prefer to receive responses on my talkpage rather than by email unless the matter is sensitive. I have given a clear reason why I removed your addition: because I found a reliable source (an American source too, so certainly not just reflecting UK realities) that contradicted it. If you can provide me with an equally reliable source the content can be reintroduced without difficulty. JFW | T@lk 21:04, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
