Information icon Hello, I'm Skywatcher68. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to CowParade have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.   –Skywatcher68 (talk) 14:08, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That's a lie. It's history. An inconvenient history to you obviously. It does not advocate people going to Sycamore. I merely states the existence of a statuary art show that predates the ones YOU are promoting by decades. Wally Thurow's contribution is objective historical fact. You are not taking a neutral position. You are advocating for a specific history by eliminating a truth you don't like. The history of Pumpkin Fest is independently verifyable. I encourage you to do that. Feel free to add it's history to the CowParade page yurself in a way you think isn't promotional. However, given that you have pages about the Olympic Games and the World Series which are ongoing commercial enterprises, it is clear that the idea that merely discussing and ongoing enterprise does not violate any rule. Take those pages down, or put Pumpkin Fest back in. FuryFlavoredIceCream (talk) 16:12, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
