[edit]The material removed by Allemandtando and Artichoker is trivial, uncited, in-universe plot summary. See WP:RS, WP:WAF. It is more appropriate for an in-universe Warhammer wiki, which I'm sure exists somewhere. The content exists in the article's edit history for someone to migrate to another project, but the content does not meet this project's criteria for inclusion/retention. --EEMIV (talk) 05:43, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- Don't forget the other projects and other web resources that may be using the article. I ask 24 hours while consensus is reached on the matter. That allows people to back up what they need easily, and to speak up one way or the other on the article. -- GameJunkieJim (talk) 06:00, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, but please be aware that the article has basically been at its current size for over 1 year now (I just went back to when WP started size estimates in the history link text). I'm not saying that consensus can't be established, but my money is on nothing significant being said on the talk page and this whole process repeating in 4 days (or whenever the block comes down). 1 year to find reliable sources and write the article to within the expectations of the pertinent guidelines. - A consensus already exists at WP:RS, WP:WAF. Per the former, people should already be "backing up" (if by "backing up," you mean substantiating) their additions. Other projects that depend on Wikipedia's content are generally immaterial -- but if all the in-universe cruft accumulated in these articles is worth anything to anyone, then under Wikipedia's license they can go into the edit history and pluck what they want. --EEMIV (talk) 06:07, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- Also, before next filing a 3RR complaint, it would behoove you to look at the "offending" editor's edits and/or the actual WP:3RR text. As I posted to the noticeboard, and as you should have looked at when providing the required diffs for a 3RR complaint (which you didn't offer), my first edit within the 24-hour period removed a single sentence from the article. I stopped reverting that and other articles precisely because of 3RR. Your edit summary accusing me of "vandalism" and posting an incomplete and uncalled-for 3RR complaint dilute your otherwise good-faith edits. --EEMIV (talk) 07:14, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
You do realise that
[edit]I never WROTE rule 6 and that was added by an Ip editor? --Allemandtando (talk) 09:37, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
seriously. At least think through allegations and personal attacks before you make them. Protonk (talk) 14:08, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
