Belated welcome

[edit]

What, no-one has welcomed you yet? Bit late, but:

Welcome!

Hello, GarethWEvans, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

First saw you arrive when you added the much-needed South Wales Coalfield and tweaked History of Swansea. I was very surprised to realise there was nothing about coal-mining in Wales on Wikipedia, so it was nice to see someone do something about it! --Telsa ((t)(c)) 23:09, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've created a fairly simple Wikipedia:Welsh Wikipedians' notice board (shortcut WP:WWNB) to try to get things started. Please have a look and consider signing on, adding it to your watchlist and helping to make sure any users with an interest in the subject know about it. Also please feel free to add things and to change anything you feel needs changing – I'm not under the impression that I own it! Rhion 19:05, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
