Danny Masterson[edit]

@GatosCiencia: Please note that there is more than one "Daniel Masterson" incarcerated in California. The one you are looking at was incarcerated back in 1992!   ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 09:36, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tip for finding free (versus non-free) images[edit]

This one caught my eye

The whole free versus non-free rules can be pretty complicated. The simple method is just find an image (in Wikicommons, not Wikipedia) that does NOT have "non-free" in any of the words on an image's page. Here are a few hundred images you could probably choose from: Commons category:Hello Kitty.

Hello. I have reverted you at this page; my summary describes why: Consensus currently (see talk page) is not to use "musician" in the lead paragraph. Please open a discussion on the talk page if you want to change it. Thank you. Happy days, ~ LindsayHello 15:46, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for taking the time to explain. I apologize for not seeing the talk page first. Will make sure to check in the future. GatosCiencia (talk) 16:07, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello again! It's not a biggie that you edited and i reverted, no need to apologise for not checking the talk page first; it's only that there has been consensus for several years on that particular change. Anyway, i've been to the talk page and i think it's great that you're prepared to discuss ~ too many times here we find certain editors who just try and ram their changes through (you might see one or two further up that same talk page!). The only thing is, your edit is, i feel, lost where you've put it, in the middle of a pretty much finished discussion of several years' age. If you don't mind, i'm going to move it to the bottom of the page and start a new section which will give it a bit more visibility. Normally we don't edit each other's talk page posts, but in this case ~ as it hasn't been replied to yet and as i'm increasing its prominence ~ i think i'm justified. If you dislike what i do, please feel free to revert me. Anyway, let's see what happens, if consensus has changed and, either way, it's great to meet you! Happy days, ~ LindsayHello 10:13, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello again,
Thank you for your understanding and constructive approach regarding the recent edits. I appreciate your amicable response and the way you've facilitated a healthy discussion on the talk page, rather than just enforcing changes. It's refreshing to encounter someone who values dialogue and consensus. Also, thank you for moving my edit to a more visible section; it's a thoughtful gesture that helps in fostering a more inclusive and engaging discussion. I'm looking forward to seeing how the consensus evolves and am glad to have the opportunity to interact with you. Here's to happy and productive collaborations!
