Good stuff, Gokul. An "a" for effort. Remember, however, it is not a medical textbook. In fact, I think the reading age for most of it is about 12. What might be useful is to compare your recent addition with earlier versions. Simply choose the button beside your latest entry, and then select an earlier version and hit compare.. It may help with style and less bulleted or numbered lists. We will learn together. As you can see, it will be easy to track for credit. Mdscottis (talk) 02:56, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Simplified Manual of Style

[edit]

Also, FisherQueen pointed out the Simplified Manual of Style to me. Have a look at it. It is excellent. If you wish, you can play with these things in your sandbox. Tricky, isn't it. Mdscottis (talk) 03:20, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

In fact, here are the references that FisherQueen sent

I hope this helps. Mdscottis (talk) 03:36, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]
it's good work but you are breaking all the rules on citations.

Refer to them in the simplified style manual. You must use [1], and then Wikipedia will automatically number and adjust automatically as needed. You can't change the title because other Wikipedia articles hyperlink to it..

Great effort but FOLLOW THE RULES. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mdscottis (talkcontribs) 16:35, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations

[edit]

Good job. Now we are getting somewhere and can make minor, leisurely, stylistic changes. Good work!--Mdscottis (talk) 01:03, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Citations again

[edit]

Gokul, note the change in citation format to prevent same citation from being repeated and referred to by different numbers. Tricky stuff. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mdscottis (talkcontribs) 20:18, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

style

[edit]

Look at "Concussion". In its talk section, it list the article as GA (good article). The level above that is "Featured article". There are links to the criteria for each, but I think it is what you were referring to in the COPD article.--Mdscottis (talk) 20:37, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikified

[edit]

I see that your contribution to myringotomy was reviewed and the ' needs wikified' tags removed. Well done. Mdscottis (talk) 00:13, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
