Speedies

I was going through the G12 category and looking at speedy deletions, when I noticed you had removed the deletion notice on Karuppuleshwarar temple. If the copyright issues have been dealt with (e.g. through removal of the offending text) I would please ask that you request a {{revdel}} so that it can be removed per WP:RD1. If you don't, then it's still on Wikipedia and you might as well not have done anything. Thank you. Primefac (talk) 15:20, 15 June 2020 (UTC)

@Primefac: I have put a PROD on it, will that be sufficient? GedUK  15:29, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
Only if the PROD sticks, which is (in my experience) highly unlikely. If there is a page that was a copyvio and that copyvio has been rectified, then the offending content must be revdel'd. You should know this. Primefac (talk) 15:36, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
OK, I think I misunderstood. The revisions have been 'removed' now, by you. What you were saying is I *should* have done that myself. I thought you meant that I still needed to do that. Yes, that was on me, I forgot. Thanks, I'll try to remember in the future. GedUK  15:38, 15 June 2020 (UTC)

Battle of Vranje 1911

Hi, Ged UK. There was a Battle of Vranje in 1878, not 1911, and it certainly wasn't part of the Albanian National Awakening, which is what Battle of Vranje 1911 redirects to. Amanuensis Balkanicus (talk) 15:18, 16 June 2020 (UTC)

@Amanuensis Balkanicus: So I did a very quick google search, and found the following: [1] and [2], which shows me enough to say that the article isn't a hoax, which was what it was tagged as. I can't comment on the veracity of the sources, but there's enough sources out there to tell me this article isn't a hoax. Inaccurate, misguided, incomplete, possibly. But not a hoax.
