Welcome!
Hello, Gigifaq, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! Jokestress (talk) 17:14, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
References
[edit]Thanks for adding references to several articles! I have reformatted some of them to fit our Manual of Style. The best references are from books, newspapers, and scholarly journals. Most websites are not considered reliable sources and may be challenged or removed. References have a bit of a learning curve to them in terms of formatting, so I did the easiest kind. See Wikipedia:Citing_sources for more tips on adding sources, and if you want to get super-fancy (which I never do), Template:Citation has a format you may see now and then when editing. Again, (a slightly belated) welcome! Jokestress (talk) 17:54, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

- You're welcome, I would post them to the talk page as possible sources even if it's for future use. One of the things I could not tell is what the sourcing suggests should be done rather than what did peopple with strong opinions want.Gigifaq (talk) 18:31, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
