Problem Multiple Inheritance[edit]

You wrote: The problem with (special?) templates is that they do not support multiple inheritance, Thatcher is an oxford alumni and a politician. This is not really problematic. But what about Bruce Scheneir who is a cr7ptographer and a security expert?

Is this really a problem? If a person is into two categories but is not notable enough for a separate article, this her/her name simply appears in two special templates.
Also, why use robots to generate template-based categories ("People born in 1917")? Why not have two types of categories on a page: autogenerated (via template, whenever a page is edited and saved), and manually added? John Broughton 18:14, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
