With regards to your comments on User talk:Can't sleep, clown will eat me : Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 01:10, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- Why can't I edit. It's a personal attack on me. Thank you. Greyduck2 01:24, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
If you have a problem with the actions of a member of the community, please take it up in a civil manner. If an administrator makes a block that you don't like, you can say something to him, and if you still disagree, take it up at WP:ANI. Calling someone a fruitcake, a little child, and "not a man" is a personal attack; even if Clown had personally attacked you, as you claim (which he didn't), it doesn't mean you can do it. The policy page reads "There is no excuse for personal attacks on other contributors. Please do not make them. [emphasis kept from page]". Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 01:31, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- I am personally attacked by not being allowed to edit on my IP. So are 2,000,000 other people. Greyduck2 01:33, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
First off, I doubt that Clown blocked all of Ireland. If you can provide proof for this, I'll take it up somewhere. Second, like I said, it doesn't matter; even if he did personally attack you, acting likewise is not an excuse. -Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 01:34, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- The range is unblocked, thank you for the report. Prodego talk 01:40, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- OK, that block was too much, you're right. Though keep it cool on the npa, please. -Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 01:41, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
