- Hi, this depends on whether a comma (",") is interpreted as a decimal separator or not. In British English at least, it almost never is, and almost any native speaker would interpret £2,295 billion as "two thousand, two hundred and ninety-five billion" or "two point two nine five trillion". The comma is a thousands separator, and two thousand billion is several times what the highest earning company in the world makes. Gus Hogg-Blake (talk) 17:44, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
- A reliable source would be the source that is currently cited, which agrees with my change. Gus Hogg-Blake (talk) 17:46, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
