November 2023[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to List of Japanese inventions and discoveries, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 11:04, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am HahaNormal. I deleted that because the title is completely misleading. It implies that the first aircraft career was invented in Japan. The reason this is wrong is because there are earlier aircraft careers in Britain and USA.
[1]https://www.britannica.com/technology/aircraft-carrier
Please read this article by britannica which says the first true carrier was the HMS Argus. The USA also invented the USS Langley.
The Japanese were first to use it in war. It doesn't mean it was invented there. If you read this, reverse the changes. Thank you. HahaNormal (talk) 11:30, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at List of Filipino inventions and discoveries, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. I am going to continue to edit. The starchart was not invented in Korea. Do you mean I need to give you a source?
The reason I am changing the title of that is because the star chart was already invented. Do I need to give source, is this the problem? I don't want to be blocked from editing. How do I give source to convince you? HahaNormal (talk) 07:43, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. I think someone is reversing my edits. My edits take sources from Wikipedia itself. I suppose you should be removing innaccurate wikipedia in there too since half of my changes is based on what I am literally reading from the site.
Remove the fact that India or Greece made the rain guage. Remove the statement that China created negative numbers. I am literally just rewriting what it said on the site. Do you think I am disruptive? I want to accurately put what is being invented and it just so happened the information online tells me literally that. What I am writing is not the work of Einstein. I add some shit too especially with China. I added some stuff on Korea. It just so happens reading the list that a lot of stuff is innaccurate and I feel someone reading that would think 'well, that's not accurate. someone from mesopotamia or egypt had already invented that.' Is my logic. HahaNormal (talk) 08:05, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Philippine invention[edit]

The In urban legends section are precisely meant for dubious but commonly attributed so-called Filipino inventions. If you check the cites, it does say the invention claims are fake/dubious. That is precisely the point of the section hence the yoyo, flourescent lamp, moon rover aren't in one of the main lists above. If you do find more sources on debunked Filipino inventions feel free to add more entries in that particular section. Hariboneagle927 (talk) 09:13, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I will try harder to give information. It's just there is too many information that is incorrect. Should I give sources while also deleting portions of data? Please don't ban. I like editing. HahaNormal (talk) 08:09, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
