Radar

[edit]

Please do not add redundant information that is already in the text of the introduction:

The term RADAR was coined in 1940 by the United States Navy as an acronym for "radio detection and ranging"

Sorry, but my concern is to use Wikipedia just like how I use google search. And I think I have valid explanation about adding the "redundant information" below.
When I just open the page about RADAR there was no full form beside the word which would have made my work easy instead of reading a whole introduction passage about RADAR to know the full form of the acronym. I felt like it was a waste of time instead I would have used ChatGpt or google search to know the answer in seconds.
And to my knowledge in the most of pages I visited in Wikipedia I have seen some pages where there was a meaning, pronunciation, abbreviation, full form, etc about the topic in short in a bracket.
So I thought it would be efficient if the full form of RADAR would be beside the acronym in a bracket. Hanochnew (talk) 11:22, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
