April 2010[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to The Elephant Man (film). Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Welcome; also, Category:Films set in London is a sub-category of Category:Films set in England, so they don't both need to be there. We tend to categorise at the lowest level of detail available, and it's all explained here. Cheers. Rodhullandemu 18:11, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Children of Men. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Two hours on, I am leaving a 2nd message as the first one does not seem to have sunk in RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 19:47, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Again, you are still adding unnecessary categories to film articles. Please stop. Rodhullandemu 19:54, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Help! (film), you may be blocked from editing. Not necessary; please stop your disruptive editing. Rodhullandemu 19:58, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Love Actually, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. repeated disruptive editing TeapotgeorgeTalk 20:24, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Categories[edit]

It is time for you to stop and explain your edits. You have received a number of messages above asking you not to add unnecessary categories and to use edit summaries explaining your edits. Now, it is time for you to use this talk page to explain yourself. I ask you to do so before you find yourself blocked. You have made some helpful edits, but you need to slow down and discuss changes with your fellow editors. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 21:15, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
