Mario Strikers Charged

[edit]

What do you want sourced? Mario Strikers Charged being the PAL name, or that Super Mario Strikers was called Mario Smash Football in PAL countries? TJ Spyke 01:03, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I want Mario Smash Football to be sourced as a PAL name. Hardcore gamer 48 07:47, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You can easily do it yourself as well, just go to any British website (like Amazon UK) and do a search for it. Mario Smash Football is the PAL name, but add the citation if you want to. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-45496963255-Mario-Football-GameCube/dp/B000B8J7JQ/sr=8-1/qid=1164909644/ref=pd_ka_1/203-8174274-5733524?ie=UTF8&s=videogames TJ Spyke 18:01, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, I made a BIG mistake. I didn't read the full intro, and assumed that people were calling Mario Smash Football the PAL name for Mario Strikers Charged. Ugh, sorry about that. o^_^o Hardcore gamer 48 06:25, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mario Party 4

[edit]

I do know who is playable in Mario Party 4! I just wasn't sure about it at the time. I put that the characters were playable in Beach Volley Folly but, as I haven't completed Story mode with every character yet, I didn't know to remove the other nonsense about the characters. I do know playable Mario Party characters and will therefore continue to edit who is and isn't playable and there is nothing you can do about it!Henchman 2000 19:22, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, chill. I never said you couldn't. I said could you please refrain from doing it if you didn't know who's playable. In any case, it wouldn't have hurt you to have actually checked up on your information BEFORE editting. Hardcore gamer 48 08:13, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It wasn't me who originally put Toad, Koopa and Goomba there, it was 68.149.36.213. I left some comments about his vandalism on his talk page. Another user reported his vandalism and he has received a warning. I was trying to revert the vandalism. I decided that I couldn't remove the other nonsense about them being playable in non-Beach Volley Folly because I haven't completed all the Story Modes yet so I had no proof it was vandalism. Henchman 2000 19:12, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Right... I sorta see where you went with this. But why exactly didn't you leave it up to the others to edit the page? Why didn't you do the simple research to find out whether Goomba was playable or not? www.gamefaqs.com is your friend. ; ) Hardcore gamer 48 06:13, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I had never heard of that website until you told me about it. Henchman 2000 19:51, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

[edit]

Thanks for adding the Khameleon link, guess I called it wrong there. It's not an official site, but MKO is usually a very reliable source, so thanks ^_^ ≈ The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 12:26, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh no, don't sweat it. I was kinda worried that it wouldn't be accepted because it wasn't the official site, but thanks for letting me know it's acceptable. ^_^ Hardcore gamer 48 14:54, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries

[edit]
Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thanks, and happy editing.

RobJ1981 07:14, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is this about Mario Party 8? Sorry, didn't seem like a major thing to me at the time. Hardcore gamer 48 08:10, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, it's about edit summaries in general. As I looked at your contributions: alot of the more recent edits don't have summaries (what section you edited appears, but that's not much of a summary). Even a "minor edit" or "minor fix" as a summary is better than nothing. I'm not saying you are vandal or anything, but summaries help. RobJ1981 09:23, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, okay. I thought you never had to put summaries for the little things. Thanks! ^_^ Hardcore gamer 48 09:31, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. It's not an entirely big deal all the time: if it's just minor edits, the m does appear in the summary. RobJ1981 09:47, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image sourcing

[edit]

What "image sourcing" means is to state where you found the image. So if someone created it themselves or if it originated on a certain web site, you have to specify that. - A Link to the Past (talk) 01:39, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay then. Thanks for that; I'll definitely point out my sources from now on. But I have a query; if I remove a watermark from an image (say that it originated from IGN), would I still be able to say that IGN was my source? Hardcore gamer 48 03:09, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. - A Link to the Past (talk) 03:14, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, cool. Thanks much! ^_^ Hardcore gamer 48 03:16, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kevin Crease Birth Date

[edit]

Just confirming I heard 8 March too. See my comment at Talk:Kevin Crease. Mark Hurd 12:32, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks much for letting me know about the talk page. I probably wouldn't have seen it for a few days otherwise.

And at least I know I wasn't hearing things then. lol Hardcore gamer 48 12:36, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Something to work on

[edit]

I have managed to get the LMPmgs userfyed here if you would like to help in making them acceptable for the encyclopedia again. 18:08, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Waluigi

[edit]

If you don't mind, could you revert it back to the redirect a few times? I'm pushing it. TTN 12:48, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, I'm sorry. I'd rather keep out of Waluigi's merging debate right now, as I'm neutral as to what happens to the main page. Hardcore gamer 48 09:39, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ganon picture

[edit]

Don't worry, that somewhat snide remark in my edit summary wasn't aimed at you. it was Jimblack that put that Ganondorf picture up in the infobox, which like you now know, was discussed at length a few months ago. You just did the right thing by removing the second instance of that picture. I've put up with Jim's antics for weeks now, it's rather aggravating at times. Well, happy editing. --Atlan (talk) 11:51, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I need some help creating the section for Creatures and races. I'm asking you, because you’re really good at adding material with relaible sources. Do you think you could help? Thanks in advance! Taric25 02:32, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yay! My first Wiki-compliment (^_^)! ... Unfortunately, I'm afraid I can't help. :( I have absolutely no idea about the creatures OR races in Mario RPG; I never had the opportunity to play it (as it wasn't released where I live :(). And as there are rumours that it is coming out here on the Virtual Console soon, I do not wish to spoil anything about the game for myself just yet (I haven't really bothered with checking the storyline or anything about it before). Again, I apologise, but I'm sure that there are other people out there willing (and able... lol) to help you. :/ Hardcore gamer 48 06:29, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MedCab

[edit]

There is an ongoing discussion at Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2007-06-26 List of Mario series enemies, and you are listed as an involved party there. Would it be okay, if you would like to be involved in the mediation there, if I mediate the case? Cool Bluetalk to me 20:06, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, why not? ^_^ Hardcore gamer 48 06:58, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This Power-up mushroom is an award for your services to Gaming Articles. May it make jumping ands editing better for you. Cheers, Dfrg.msc 00:12, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Aw, cool! Thanks! ^_^ Hardcore gamer 48 04:54, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I have a favor to ask of you. On the aforementioned page, could you go through all the images and add fair use rationales? I ask you since you have done this for a few of the images, plus I'm too lazy to tag all of them as lackign a rationale/am too lazy to add said rationale. Wizardman 22:24, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Heh, I'll see what I can do. ; ) Hardcore gamer 48 03:59, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About Princess Daisy's Article

[edit]

I am upset this article has been merged because TTN was in trouble now. 68.162.116.46 19:38, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What wiki's was Princess Daisy the main article now? 68.162.116.46 19:38, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, I can't understand your second comment. TTN can't get in trouble for this, he's following the rules. As much as I would have liked to keep the articles split, he has a point when he says that we need outside references (i.e. stuff that comes from outside the gaming world). Apparently the movie can't fit that bill. = / Hardcore gamer 48 23:01, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:58, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
