A tag has been placed on IoSafe, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of IoSafe and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ~a (usertalkcontribs) 15:10, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank your for the restoration of the page. Removal of copy / content that appeared advertising in tone has been removed. Additional content for criticisms has also been added along with proper notes/citations. Thank you for your kind feedback thus far. Further editing will continue and additional reputable sources will be added - Harddrives (talk) 21:55, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio & ioSafe[edit]

Hey I noticed a large amount of your content comes from copyrighted sources. Make sure you write all of your own content. If you want more info, see WP:COPYVIO. Also I have to ask: do you work for or are you affiliated with the ioSafe company? You seem to only be editing on subjects related to ioSafe. Thanks, and happy editing. ~a (usertalkcontribs) 15:52, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for clarification and link. I am continually working to improve this article. A "criticisms" section has been added to provide more objective content. With an interest in evolution of products and technology, I simply feel that this company and Sentry Safe (another manufacturer of these backup devices) have a valid and relevant role. Additional research is being conducted to investigate "legal cases" - Harddrives (talk) 17:16, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
