Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Shiawassee River. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. • There are two reasons. Firstly, the video I looked at appears to be copyrighted to someone or something, which means that YouTube/Google Video is breaking that copyright by using it. Secondly, YouTube and Google Video link locations have this nasty tendency to change at random, meaning that while Video A is at http://www.googletube.com/thislink today, it might move to http://www.googletube.com/thatlink tomorrow. If you shot the video yourself, though, you can upload it to Wikipedia or WikiCommons and add it to the article. You should note that it would make the video publicly licensed, though. ~ Wakanda's Black Panther!/ 01:01, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I only said that the video appeared to be copyrighted to someone. If it's copyrighted to you, as I said above, you are welcomed to upload it to Wikimedia Commons. Google Video and YouTube links tend to be unreliable. I've clicked many myself and gotten the "Media does not exist" message. While I harbor no hostile feelings or intentions towards you, I feel I should inform you that calling other users "pompous and presumptious" is constiered a Personal Attack and is widely discouraged. Oh, and good job cleaning up the trails and river. As an outdoorsman, I can appreciate the effort to clean up after the inconsiderate. ~ Wakanda's Black Panther!/ 00:13, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
