Proposed deletion of Hiking apparel

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Hiking apparel, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

spam removed - now prod for WP:NOTHOWTO - username reported

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

There were two websites I referenced which were references other than wikipedia sites. I understand that the first one may have been a company, which I didn't fully research into whether they promote products, but the second website is purely an information site, that website being the hikingapparelguide.com one.

Speedy deletion nomination of Wind resistant

A tag has been placed on Wind resistant requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. I understand why this article was deleted as it didn't have enough content on there. I do not think that it should have caused my username to be blocked however
