Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising. For more information on this, see:

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia:

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 11:03, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to User:Hollybethtyler. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. -- Alexf(talk) 11:17, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Hollybethtyler, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Alexf(talk) 10:42, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Holly, I have moved the userspace draft to User:Hollybethtyler/sandbox to take it off of your usepage. I have also added a Welcome message at the top of this page to provide a number of key policies on Wikipedia. If you have honestly been assigned a school project related to Wikipedia, please advise your teacher about the policies related to school and university projects. Your userpage belongs to Wikipedia, and must continue to meet Wikipedia's guidelines - the one you wrote is not a profile, and is therefore not a valid use of your userpage. Even the sandbox page I created for you still must meet Wikipedia's guidelines. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 11:07, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
