I was trained in physiological psychology, later to be called neurosciences, because of the greater prestige in the second name. Anyone would agree. The biologists agreed, and as biology is surely more prestigious, it was back to various less prestigious disciplines. My graduate school was so specialized that we didn't know what to call ourselves, and most of us drifted off. I went to work for the post office, then took a job as an academic science librarian.
