Wasting some precious time here
[edit]If one finds nothing more helpful to do for Wikipedia than to delete the well intended efforts (but alas lacking in reliable sources) of other contributors who might have been as naive as to think that they were building an encyclopedia, it is understandable that one must first mentally project some kind of very bad and suspicious thing in what one is deleting, write insulting things about the intentions of the creator and his contributions, and generally see all kinds of creepy things in his relation to Wikipedia, like "cult promotion", "blatant spamming", whatever condemnable. What the heck, we're humans after all, we shouldn't feel guilty for doing our self-appointed duty. We should feel proud, correct, righteous. I mean, here we see big powers going out and bombing the hell out of areas where people and families live and all they have to say is that they are eliminating Evil so that Peace may prevail (not for any profit, God-forbid). So what's wrong with some wiki-nuking. Let's get together a demolition team and bring down "the wall of the garden". And no, we are not a cult, we probably haven't even read the artilce "cult" to know what one is, we don't have any inner jargon, we just see "gardens" and "walls" and "nuke" them, see? Of course one should know all this... so how does one dare interfere? If anybody dares we'll check into all the articles s/he has created and we'll nuke all "nukable stuff". After all Wikipedia tolerates such practices. At the most some administrator will leave a message like "please abstain from personal remarks". And then we have the WMF wondering as to how comes and participation is waning and asking us how we could appeal more to the public... maybe through some social-network-type application? Well keep looking out there and good luck.
P.S. - There seems to be a thing in some parts of Wikipedia referred to as the "parlance in AFD-sphere", which includes such vocabulary and tone as to effectively keep AfDs almost exclusively for the "regular AfD folk" (i.e. deletionists and inclusionists). For all other purposes AfDs are "open to the community".
