Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising. For more information on this, see:

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! SatuSuro 03:00, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You may well find that these get reverted - the reasons are given in the first set of links in the welcome messages - ream em carefully!!SatuSuro 03:07, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Even worse is embedding external links into articles - you are asking for trouble with that SatuSuro 03:09, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Take very careful note of responses to some of your edits - ignoring reversions of your edits and re-entering can lead you to be blocked - take careful note of warnings!!! SatuSuro 11:03, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Helpme

[edit]

{{helpme}} was contacted to update something but i cannot see any link as to what i need to make changes on and what needs to be changed are not clear(Howardpark&madfish (talk) 06:45, 28 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

  • Talk pages usually flow from top to bottom, I moved your request to the bottom of the page, and added it into a section. I believe SatuSuro was referring to the article Great_Southern_(Western_Australia). It seems to me that you advertising by adding the external links you have (howardparkwines.com.au and madfishwines.com.au), which is not allowed on WikiPedia. Usually if someone reverts an edit of yours, there is a valid reason, and especially if it gets reverted twice. You can look at the page history and see who changes it after you, then message the user on his or her talk page asking why your content was removed. –Meiskam (talkcontribblock) 07:02, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

thanks Meiskam appreciate the comment(Howardpark&madfish (talk) 07:34, 28 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

The thing is you like a spammer - you need to edit without trying to add links to the businesses which have your user name for a start (see WP:COI ) - then if you are a genuine user/editor apart from trying to leave links to the business - you need to look at the welcome page and the other parts to see what you can do apart from adding links to the business (which can see you blocked if you arent careful) SatuSuro 09:42, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks SatuSuro I have printed out all the rules and will go over them all with a fine toothcomb. l(Howardpark&madfish (talk) 06:05, 29 May 2009 (UTC)).[reply]
