Bladee & Hyperpop

[edit]

I noticed your interest in this subject and wanted to chime in with some thoughts. Bladee has 'recently' distanced himself from the scene in an interview with Charli XCX. It also appears to me, though this doesn't realistically make it any less valid, that the article sourced on his page has been written without any air of authority or greater-than-cursory knowledge on the subject(s), instead working as a rather detached 'wow, these kids sure are crazy!!' wrap up of a few names in underground pop for 2020. I was initially skeptical of any connection outside of work with Charli, who wasn't exactly in on the ground floor herself despite her obvious importance regarding the post-PC aesthetic's growth in popularity, but I do agree Good Luck's true(!) bubblegum bass sound would draw him into the fold far more effectively than drain gang's general alt-R&B/cloud rap output. I bet if you focus on Good Luck you could find a stronger source for his page. Have fun! — VariousDeliciousCheeses (talk) 15:52, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
