Hello, I'm Killarnee. I noticed that in this edit to International European University, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Killarnee (T12) 20:04, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Killarnee: You think the removal was done "without adequately explaining why"? What explanation would you have considered adequate? It seems to me that the edit summary given, together with the copyright notice on the article, explained it perfectly well. You did actually look at the article before reverting and posting the above message, didn't you, rather than just automatically clicking on the button in Huggle without bothering to check what the edit was about? I looked at the edit, but before I could undo it, IEU - International Cooperations undid it. --Killarnee (T12) 20:29, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Killarnee: I don't see how that answers any of my questions. You need to check whether an edit should be reverted before you revert it, and before you post a message to another editor saying that it wasn't "adequately" explained. You have not answered my question about using Huggle, but what you did looked exactly like what happens very often for editors who think that using Huggle reduces the need to carefully check before taken action. It doesn't. JBW (talk) 20:36, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. GeneralNotability (talk) 14:34, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
