Model train scales diagram
I modified one of the diagrams on this site: http://www.cr.nps.gov/history/online_books/steamtown/shst.htm
Don't remember which one it was, I still have the original but I don't see it after a quick look. It was Canadian National diagram of a Baldwin Mountain U-1. There are lots of other diagrams on there.
If you're going to make this afresh it might be better to use a photograph of a scale model or something, or some other profile view of a locomotive.
