User talk:Iain McCallum
Hi,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I see you've made your first edit to Boy Meets Girl (BBC TV series), and I wanted to say hello and point you at some useful resources.
Based on your username, I'm assuming you're Iain McCallum, head of press and PR for Tiger Aspect Productions. If that's the case, because of your job, people are likely to think that you're effectively being paid to edit Wikipedia to promote the show. That's not strictly against Wikipedia's rules, but you need to be careful to not breach Wikipedia's conflict of interest policies.
I'd like to point you at our best practices for editors with close associations, the plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and the FAQ on disclosure of paid contributions that was written regarding Wikipedia's Terms of Use.
That all being said, I hope you're able to find Wikipedia useful and enjoy editing here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page, and I'll see what I can do to help.
I've put a generic welcome message below, because it has a bunch of useful links, but I wanted to write something a bit more personal first.
Again, welcome!
