Reference Life: Famously known as Finger Nail Artist as well as art historian and educationist, Shekhar Chandra Joshi born in Dwarahat Almora, Uttarakhand, India. Disciple of Mr. Imtiyaz Ali Khan “Khandara”; painter, Marxist thinker, and art historian; Shekhar Chandra Joshi earned prowess in writings and praxis of art and culture.

Paintings: His Paintings are Kumauni Women (water colour), Brahmkamal (Oil), Hemkund, Kedarnath, Gamblers (Tempera), Nanda Sunda and Om Shanti (Mixed Media). Finger Nail Art: His Finger Nail Paintings are on Ragamala, Fantasy of Raga, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Acrobats, In the Forest, Ghasiyarine as developed a new kind of art of painting in fingers nail and water/ natural colours on paper and paper pasted on Canvas.
