Awakenings in the 18th and 19th Century (Sandbox Version)

The so-called Great Awakenings between 1734 and 1910 to some degree shaped a great part of middle-class North-America. Still today Protestant US Americans identity and thinking patterns show traces of these major spiritual movements. When you compare Western and Eastern European ways of thinking with US American mentality, you will easily discover some differences that go back to these awakenings. 18th and 19th century Europe (except England) did not see any such spiritual awakening.

Study the material below and answer the following question:
What are the major differences between US American and European thinking and approach to life that can be traced back to the Great Awakenings?
