Macedonian

[edit]

Hey, Spoken Macedonian and Selski speech have been merged now. One thing though; should Standard Macedonian really be separate from the main article? Roughly speaking, the language articles discuss the standard (in the linguistics sections), with a few mentions of dialects. I would say the standard is the bulk of every article. Actually, I didn't notice that other languages have it - so I'm more than happy for them to be kept separate now :) BalkanFever 03:13, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, most people don't pay attention to it. We'll just have to manage with what we have. BalkanFever 03:24, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Since it's more widely used, литературен. I don't see any harm in mentioning them both though. mk:Македонски јазик uses литературен but книжевност. BalkanFever 09:02, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I must admit I am a purist, and prefer using Slavic words or cognates rather than Latin or English. But some guys go too far (try and guess what "brzoglas" is :-) ) BalkanFever 09:13, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Definitely. They basically gave us our Romanisation system, too. BalkanFever 09:36, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly do you want from me? You come back from wherever you were and start mocking me in the lamest way. In your first edit. Looks like a world record, eh?--Laveol T 11:57, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
