[edit]Thanks for making the corrections. I knew I would make some...I was looking over my shoulder at the TV (copying the text directly from the broadcast...gotta love DVR's) and was typing "blind". 2 denoted a step
[edit]In the article on scientific method#Introduction to scientific method the signum 2 was meant to denote a step or phase in scientific method. It thus was shorthand for something which took more words to say. It is then a short step to items in an algorithmic language, without getting bogged down in more formal terms, which are used below. The introduction was meant to answer a criticism about the formality of a later section. --Ancheta Wis 20:26, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
