Sources

[edit]

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a place for homework. You might explain this situation to your teacher. If the homework is at a very high level and has suitable sources, it might be compatible with Wikipedia. The best way to contribute to Wikipedia is with small contributions - one or two sentences. Some suggestions:

  • see WP:SECONDARY. Good sources for Wikipedia are reviews and books. Not journal articles. If you are a student, you are strongly encouraged to rely on secondary sources because you just lack perspective to start citing specialized literature.
  • Wikipedia is not a source of references for other Wikipedia articles.
  • Research Gate is definitely not a source, it is just a mirroring the literature.
