Sources[edit]

Hi Jadams46! I see you've got some sources started - that's a good place to begin! I wonder if you might also consider some of the following sources for use in the additions you're making to the Writing Process wikipedia article: Stephen Witte's "Pre-Text and Composing" in College Composition and Communication Stephen Witte & Lester Faigley's, "Analyzing Revision" in College Composition and Communication Nancy Sommers and Laura Saltz's "The Novice as Expert" in College Composition and Communication.

Also, what portion of the article are you working on to expand?

This is a good start, and I'm excited to see it develop! Indeed, this article is *so* important! Pthomas4 (talk) 20:49, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Draft in-progress[edit]

Hi Jadams46 -

I agree with much of what your peer reviewer has noted about your edits! I also think your next round of revisions should focus on improving the sourcing of sentences by adding further references behind each sentence. The section of "Process Writing Approach" needs to be clarified in terms of how it is different to the current article's "Approaches to writing process" section. For instance, are you focusing on pedagogical applications of writing process (it kinda reads that way to me but I might be wrong)? If so, naming the section heading to something about pedagogy would be necessary. In addition, please let me know if I can assist in your formatting (especially with the bulleted list in this section of your draft - I can show you how to make the bullet lists in the visual editor).

Good work, but keep going! PT Pthomas4 (talk) 20:53, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
