Regarding page reviewer

Thank you to everyone who recommended I try out the New Page Reviewer right, however, I have opted not to make it permanent nor do I intend on returning to it for as long as this message is up. New page reviewing doesn't seem to make sense to me given all I've ever used it for (mostly) was page reviewing redirects following bad article attempts. Even that part of Wikipedia has given me a small amount of stress, and I've had to back away from disputes to avoid making that stress worse.

In short, it doesn't make sense to me to keep a user right if I know I'm not going to use it as frequently, especially given I might leave Wikipedia within the next few years. Jalen Folf (talk) 18:44, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I was coming here to leave a message to you regarding NPP, and saw this. Too bad, we could use quality folks over there, but I definitely understand about the stress. Thanks for all you do. Onel5969 TT me 15:21, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Inappropriate warning and CSD tags

The 4IM warning you left at User_talk:90.241.189.212 was inappropriate, as the IP's edits to Draft:Horrid Henry's Hobby (and related drafts) are VERY clearly not vandalism. They appear to be edits to create articles for episodes about the show Horrid Henry (TV series). I've also declined 7 pages which you tagged as WP:CSD G2 (test pages), which appeared to be the beginning of articles and definitely not test pages. Please review WP:CSD G2 and be careful when adding CSD tags in the future. Episode drafts you do not like should not be edit warred over and they should not be marked as test pages unless they very clearly are. Hey man im josh (talk) 15:59, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to participate in a research

Hello,

The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.

You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.

The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .

Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind Regards,

WMF Research Team

Hi JalenBarks -- I've declined this A1 and moved the article to draftspace for the creator. A1 isn't applicable as it's pretty clear what the subject of the article is meant to be. Also you tagged it only about 15 minutes after creation -- I thought patrollers were meant to give broadly unproblematic "articles" like this a full hour before placing these kinds of speedies?
