Hoax?[edit]

I was unable to find any mention of a "famed Colombian bandit" of this name, from a quick skim around the internet, and the source you provide (a book called Siglo 19 en Colombia with no author or publisher) isn't very clear. Can you be more specific about the sources you're using here? --McGeddon (talk) 14:43, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

He is famous in Colombia, but hard information is hard to find abroad, I think every culture is obsessed with their own criminals-Jack the Ripper, Al Capone, Ned Kelly-noone really wants to know about old foreign mainstream criminals. The thing I reference is not a book, but a local tourist guide leaflet that I bought.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Jammy james the second (talkcontribs) 15:53, 14 April 2016‎
If he's a famous historical figure in Colombia then there should be plenty of local newspaper articles and locally-published books that mention him. Do you have any of those that you can provide as sources, or is it just that tourist guide leaflet? --McGeddon (talk) 15:01, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure there are, but my Spanish is basic and it took me long enough to translate and rephrase the booklet. I've had enough with this now, do with it what you will-I'm leaving.
