[edit]First, I'd like to say that I'm totally aware of you just working on one section at a time, so some of my comments may not even apply at the moment. It's just something that came in mind as I was reading what you have pasted and edited so far.
- I really appreciate that you're going above and beyond to restructure the entire article. I considered doing this for my own but the amount of work and thought that has to go into doing that is extremely intimidating. What you have so far shows that you know where you're going with the article, and that's awesome.
- I can see that you're validating where quotes are coming from and ensuring they're relevant or even necessary. The original article has an insane amount of quotes within it, and although I understand why (complex topic), it is a little bit jarring. So keep that up!
- The first couple of sentences in the mean speed theorem section may need rewording. I know you didn't write this part yourself, but I'm reading it over and over in my head and I have no idea what the author is trying to say with this.
- You're going to need to rewrite, reword, and whatever else to the whole article. Obviously, this is only if you truly want to keep going above and beyond, but a lot of the original article is difficult to follow. If you are able and would be happy with handling such a daunting task, you should absolutely go for it. I just say this as a point of my peer review because that is a monumental task, and honestly you should probably talk to Dr. Sheppard about expectations for the project.
So far, I am really impressed with what you are doing! It's so clear to me how much you care about getting accurate information and I appreciate that a lot. It has definitely inspired me to go the extra mile and to come here to see how I could improve the structuring of my own article. I'm really looking forward to where you take this article.
