Please help us celebrate our anniversary!
Please check out Anniversary - let's celebrate! Your suggestions are very welcome. — Sebastian 22:25, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
To keep our website nice for the celebration, I cleaned up the list of sources. They were quite in a mess, with names in the URL column and URLs in the Name column, and with links missing our outdated. I realize that that was because I had been unclear when I created the table, so I now named the columns more clearly, and wrote instructions how to add sources. Please take a look at them before you add new sources! — Sebastian 20:56, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Re: improvement of LTTE intro
I'm sorry, I'm not playing your silly games. I have better things to do. --snowolfD4 ( talk / @ ) 18:24, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- I was referring to the fact how you keep undoing edits I mark minor, without knowing the policy yourself. [1] --snowolfD4 ( talk / @ ) 18:30, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, if you want to see something that violates WP:CIVIL, read your edit summery. If I was incorrectly marking edits as minor when they were not (which, reading WP:MINOR, I may have been), you could have simply pointed them out. Reverting them and trying to make fun of my edits was not helpful in my opinion. --snowolfD4 ( talk / @ ) 18:46, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
WP:NCGN
I support a merger, and am discussing it. Having looked at WP:PLACES, I see little of value and much that is simply wrong. (For what it's worth, it isn't pure article titles either.)
Come and discuss, both at WT:NCGN and WT:PLACES. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 22:30, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
diacritics
Sorry about opening that can of worms...I try and stay out of diacritic discussions. But it really angered me when he used the word "ignorance" to describe English spellings. I would have moved the discussion to his talk page, but he had already responded by the time i saw your message. Don't worry, I don't plan on getting involved in a long, heated debate on the subject. I am tired of those, just like I am tired of hearing "English misspells it". Masterhatch (talk) 22:34, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Barnstar
I just was just listening to Sonali Samarasinghe, the widow of Lasantha while coming to work on CBC. It was heart breaking to hear her grief but those are the people who are really affected. I am just a cushy westerner having a great time spending time on pedia, so it is so easy for me to be nice. But thanks anyway it was a very pleasant surprise.
