Userpage
[edit]Hi, I stumbled across your userpage whilst looking at Special:RecentChanges. Please note that, whilst Wikipedia allows its editors quite a lot of latitude with respect to userpages, they are intended for content pertaining to your activities on the Wikipedia website, and not for use as personal web space. Please read Wikipedia:User page for more information. Thanks, —Jeremy (talk) 00:51, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Hello Jeremy, I was wondering then: Is there any other website that I could use? Is it really that bad if I use it as a temporal "personal site"? Can I just keep it up until after Xmas? Thank you for your time

There are many places that offer free web hosting. A quick google search for 'free wiki' led me to http://www.wikidot.com (amongst others). I'm afraid that Wikipedia is for creating an online encyclopedia not for providing free web space. —Jeremy (talk) 01:12, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your help. I'm trying to set up several of these but I have problems with them being "open to public editing". I'll keep trying.--Javier00032 (talk) 01:39, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
