Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. Your GA nomination of Lorazepam

[edit]

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Lorazepam you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Javierantequeraq -- Javierantequeraq (talk) 09:00, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Javierantequeraq, you are never supposed to review a GA nomination that you've made yourself. In this case, in your enthusiasm, you've also run afoul of another rule at the Good Article nomination instructions, which is that if you haven't made a significant contribution to an article, you should not nominate it to be a GA without first consulting with the regular editors of the article, who are most likely to know whether it is ready for a GA nomination. (For example, by posting a request on the article's talk page.)
In this case, it is clear that the article is not ready: the Contraindications section has been tagged, with cause, for inadequate sourcing, and a number of other subsections have similar sourcing gaps. Verifiability is a crucial component of Wikipedia articles in general, and is a clear requirement for GAs.
I have removed your nomination for these reasons. Please do not make further GA nominations until you have a better understanding of the process. Thank you. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:40, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Lorazepam

[edit]

The article Lorazepam you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Lorazepam for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article.
