Article tags[edit]

I posted this on the village pump, but in case you don't check it, there is a large list of article tags. (Wikipedia:Template messages/Cleanup) I hope that's helpful! Vassyana 15:00, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

The Spanish American War[edit]

I'm doing a paper on the Spanish American War, & was wondering if any one had any valuable information I could use. I did look at the article that Wikipedia provides and will be using that but any other info that I could get would be very helpful. The person that adopted me recommend that I look to you for this kind of info. They said that you edited the article and could be of some help. Thanks.

  • I edited the article, but I have absolutely no real expertise on the subject, other than what the article provides. If you need more info, I suggest you do a Google on it. I'm sure you'll get something. Jedibob5 (talk) 23:22, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

The Metallica waveform image[edit]

Howdy. Just an FYI, even though the recently discussed Metallica image is on Commons now, that doesn't automatically mean the image is suitable for an article. If you still think it is OR, then you can still discuss its use in the Death Magnetic article.--Rockfang (talk) 17:34, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
