Welcome

Hi JenIslJ, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. I noticed you mentioned the class on your user page (which is very helpful for other editors!) and I wanted to share some helpful advice for running Wikipedia assignments. It's designed to ensure students have a positive experience editing Wikipedia, avoid any confusion with accounts acting in bad faith, etc. You can find the guidelines here: advice for running Wikipedia assignments. Actually, it might also help if you could also pass on that link to your instructor. Regards. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 07:18, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please also feel free to contact me on my user talk page if you have any questions, or you can respond here in this user talk page section and I'll see it. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 07:39, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the suggestions. I ended up withdrawing from the class weeks ago after contacting the professor about Wikipedia assignments, sharing the same link, and not hearing back. That being said, I have found the page-editing experience enlightening and have been following several Talk pages to learn best-practices. If I have any questions, I will reach out - thank you for offering your help! JenIslJ (talk) 13:11, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
