User talk:Jhbishop
_ _ Hi, and welcome to WP. Even aside from the problems usually anticipated when we get autobiographical contributions, i've removed, without prejudice,
- *Bishop, John Howard (born 1953), analog circuit designer and contributor to Wikipedia
for several reasons:
- contributing to WP is in virtually all cases not of encyclopedic interest (whatever may be the case on pages with titles starting "Talk:", "Wikipedia:", etc.),
- the other information furnished is too sparse (in view of the frequency of the name) to identify the person in question, rendering it unverifiable
- the TI-related hits among
- 511 of about 717 for "John Bishop" circuit design
- are few enough that they suggest non-notability.
You should also be aware that John Bishop, to which you linked, is the bio of a dead Australian academic & musical conductor; WP:DAB will help you orient yourself on how we deal with such situations, but i hasten to say that renaming of existing pages should not be undertaken to accommodate articles that have yet to overcome their prima-facie evidence of non-notability.
_ _ I think the sentiment of "why would anyone bother with analog cktry?" is overcomeable, and i'll bet you could do some valuable work in relevant articles, so i'm especially looking forward to your technical contributions. Hope to see more of you!

Oh, BTW, if we were keeping the entry, it would so far be marked up so:
- *[[John Bishop (engineer)|Bishop, John Howard]] (born 1953), engineer <!-- analog circuit designer and contributor to Wikipedia -->
to produce
- Bishop, John Howard (born 1953), engineer
