The page I deleted failed to assert any measure of its notability or significance, or in other words, its impact in the real world, as shown by independent, reliable, verifiable sources. Articles that fail to show any measure of notability are liable for deletion under criterion A7 of the speedy deletion criteria. If the article is tagged as such, an administrator can review the article for whether deletion is warranted. In my estimation, no significant notability was shown, and I judged that it was suitable for deletion. In any case, my ability to do is is not self-appointed: I went through a formal request to be an administrator in the first place, and the community stated their consent with my request as shown.
